BONSOY SAYS ‘SOY YA LATTE’ AND HELLO AGAIN TO 100% CERTIFIED ORGANIC SOYBEANS.

Bonsoy has been doing it better since ’83. And up until 2017, we’d been using 100% certified organic soybeans. But as Bonsoy has grown to become one of the world’s most popular alternative liquid foods, we’ve had challenges getting Mother Nature to keep up with demand. We’re proud to announce that after working with our growers, we’re returning to 100% organic soybeans for good.

A return to nature that’s been a long time coming. 

Even though our milk grows on trees (literally), returning to 100% organic soybeans has been no mean feat. Our bean counters made a split between 25% ‘in-conversion’ and 75% ‘certified organic’ while we found a sustainable solution. After helping our farmers in the convert acreages to certified organic crops, our soy milk is back to 100% organic soybeans, from farm to froth. 

‘We’re ecstatic to be back using select variety 100% certified organic soybeans. It’s been a great concerted effort by everyone involved to see this come to fruition,’ said James Wilson, Director of Spiral Foods.

Returning to 100% organic soybeans is a process that has taken years. But we have a hunch that plant-based, non-genetically modified food isn’t a fad. In fact, at Bonsoy, it’s our past, present and future.
